July 4th and 5th: Fireworks and Fiesta!
July 4th: Fireworks
8:00 AM: Cycling Club
Every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:00 am the Cycling Club leaves
from the front office for a wonderful bicycle ride. What a great way to see
the rolling roadways of Bloomington.
Dusk: Fireworks!
Lake Monroe village Campground will have a fireworks display to celebrate
Independence Day !!!! This event will be begin at dusk and will be held in
the front field by the entrance of Lake Monroe Village. This has been loads
of fun in previous years so bring a chair or blanket, sit back and enjoy.

July 5th: Caribbean Fiesta Celebration!

the rolling roadways of Bloomington.
6:00 PM: Festivities begin!! Food, games & fellowship.
What a night this is. First and foremost this event is a fundraiser for
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) where 100% of your dinner donations will be
contributed to the Montel Williams MS Foundation. In 2005 we generated
$1,800.00 and 2006 an outstanding $2,375.00 and then in 2007 a terrific
$3,000.00 was raised for this good cause. We will have our limbo contest, lots of great food, music and fun. Returning again this year to cook this feast is
Jim & Heidi, owners of Pearls and Ivy Catering. Let me tell you they know how to cook.
So wear your best "or worst" Caribbean shirt and enjoy a
fantastic summer evening camping.
